Reference Services
Marshall Public Library staff answer factual questions that can be located in resources such as almanacs, dictionaries, directories, encyclopedias, and the internet. If the answer cannot be found, a reliable referral will be provided where possible.
When contacting the library with a query, please describe as completely as possible the question or information to be researched. Include the who, what, when, where, and why of the question. If you are requesting a copy of an obituary, include a full name, date of death or burial, where the death or burial occurred, etc. If you are working with a deadline, please give us a cut-off date or time. Include all information necessary for us to respond back, such as your name, address, phone number, email, and/or fax number. We can fax up to 10 pages of information.
