How much are overdue fines?

The fine for most overdue items is $.10 per day/per item. However, the fine for an overdue interlibrary loan item is $.25 per day/per item.

Does the library have a book drop?

Yes, two book drops are available on the north side (Center Street) of the library. If the book drops are full, please bring items inside. Do not leave items on top of or next to the book drops.

Will the library hold a book for me?

Yes, items checked out may be placed on hold at any catalog computer in the library or from the library’s website. See the Library Catalog and Catalog Help. Items that the library doesn’t own may be borrowed through Interlibrary Loan (ILL).

Quick Pick-Up

In order to quickly assist patrons, the quick pick-up option is available. Patrons can pick up holds placed on available materials the next business day at the circulation desk. For curbside services, please contact the library at 208-232-1263. There is a limit of 10 items per day and will not be available same day for both quick pick-up and curbside services.

Can I renew my materials?

Yes, most items can be renewed for one additional checkout. Items on hold for another patron may not be renewed. To renew by phone, have your library card ready and call the library at 208-232-1263 ext. 106 or visit Library Catalog and Catalog Help.
